What is the GRIT Project
The GRIT Project includes help for students and adults on the journey to uncovering financial independence through jobs. Each participant begins with a career assessment and then a 1 on 1 coaching session with a career specialist. Through these conversations a plan is developed to enroll in work skills training, if needed, and then to identify jobs that are compatible to the results of your assessment.
The following are some service examples:

-
Career coaching
-
Education and career training
-
Tutoring
-
Preparing for college or work credential training
-
Supportive services, including transportation, child care, housing, uniforms and work-related tools
We are currently serving participants in Morgan, Noble Monroe, and Washington counties.
Referrals can be made at your local OhioMeansJobs Center.
