The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) of 2014gives Veterans and eligible spouses’ priority of service for all Department of Labor (DOL)-funded job training programs, including WIOA programs. This included employment, training, and placement services. However, veterans must still meet each programs eligibility criteria to receive services.
